With endless styles and directions to go in, chuppahs are always a joy to design! For this Friday Eye Candy, we’re featuring one of our favorite chuppahs from Alyssa & Matt’s wedding at historic Josephine Butler Parks Center.

The stage for the chuppah encompassed the bride and groom underneath a hand-crocheted covering made by a special friend. This delicate covering served as the canopy and added beautiful texture to the rustic feel of the chuppah.

The coral, peach, grey, and ivory hues served as a great contrast to the birch structure while still making a beautiful statement. There was no shortage of beautiful blooms, as roses, pincushions, hypericum berries, and dusty miller adorned the corners of the birch poles and complemented Alyssa and her bridesmaids’ bouquets. Once it was completed, the chuppah was the very essence of a rustic romance aesthetic, don’t you think?

Thank you to Amber Wilkie for helping us making this week’s Friday Eye Candy possible!
